Why is CEO Ayan Walking Across India?
Karuna Padayatra (The Compassion March) was born out of a simple but powerful realization: true change is slow, deliberate, and starts from the ground up. CEO Ayan decided to step out of the office and walk across the length and breadth of India to directly connect with communities, restoring the relationship between humans and nature.
Walking allows us to observe local ecological problems firsthand—whether it is water scarcity in villages, deforested hill tracts, or stray animals lacking basic medical attention. By walking, we don't just pass through communities; we listen, plant roots, and share a kinder way of living.
Our Impact Indicators
Core Mission Activities
Our daily journey comprises concrete actions aimed at environmental healing and ethical living.
Tree Plantation Drives
At every village and town border, Ayan, along with local youth, plants native trees (Neem, Banyan, Peepal, Mango). We form community watch committees to ensure the saplings are watered and protected.
Animal First Aid & Care
We carry animal rescue kits. From dressing wounds of street dogs to coordinating cattle rescues, Ayan spreads awareness on stray animal empathy and supports local shelters with food and medicine.
Vegan Diet Awareness
Ayan conducts street corner discussions promoting vegan diet benefits. We share simple, affordable, plant-based Indian recipes to highlight how veganism reduces carbon footprint and prevents animal suffering.
The Journey So Far
Highlighting the major checkpoints of CEO Ayan's Padayatra across India.
The Step Off (Southern India)
Started the Padayatra from Kanyakumari. Met local fishermen, discussed ocean ecology, and planted 1,200 mangrove saplings along backwaters.
Deccan Plateau Walk
Traversed through Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Organised 45 school workshops on seedball making and vegan nutrition.
Central India Outreach
Crossed Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Partnered with local veterinarians to organize medical camps for stray cattle and dogs.
Northern Plains & Forests
Walking through Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Initiating community afforestation drives and local clean-up drives before heading further north.
